Room for family, built from the ground up in Palo Alto: an accessory dwelling with a pool, custom throughout.

The brief

Finished in 2025 after more than two years of work, with a pool and terrace below the house.

Inside: a faceted white ceiling with skylights over dark green cabinetry and a rounded, copper-clad island; baths in blue glazed tile with stone trough sinks. Outside: an outdoor kitchen under a trellis, and a gate of woven branches in steel.
